1.About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Sterling Holdings website and platform, operated by Sterling Holdings ("Sterling", "we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Risk Disclosure.
2.Who can use the platform
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. The platform is not available to residents of [restricted jurisdictions], or anywhere using it would break local law.
3.Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password secure and turn on two-factor authentication.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- Hold only one account in your own name.
4.Identity verification
We verify every customer. You must complete verification before you participate in offerings or withdraw. We may ask for more information at any time, and may refuse or suspend an account if verification is not completed.
5.Deposits and your wallet
We accept deposits in the cryptocurrencies and networks listed in your dashboard. A deposit is credited once our team confirms it, for the amount actually received. Balances are shown in [US dollars].
Cryptocurrency transfers cannot be reversed. You are responsible for sending the correct coin, on the correct network, to the address shown.
6.Offerings and participation
Each offering sets out its value, its unit price ("Minimum Participation"), its minimum number of units, its projected yield and its investment horizon. When you confirm a participation, the amount moves from your available balance into your investment and the horizon starts.
Projected yields are targets, not promises. Where an offering is marked flexible, we may revise the rate before maturity. A revision never reduces your principal, and yield already paid is not reversed.
At maturity, your principal and any yield not already paid return to your available balance. You cannot leave an offering before maturity unless its terms say otherwise.
7.Withdrawals
You can withdraw your available balance to your own wallet address. Every withdrawal is reviewed before it is sent, and the amount is held while we review it. Any fee is shown before you confirm. We may delay or refuse a withdrawal where the law requires it or to protect your account.
8.Fees
Where a fee applies, it is shown before you confirm the transaction and recorded in your transaction history. [Describe any other fees.]
9.Referrals
If you refer someone, a referral bonus may be credited under the programme rules shown in your dashboard. We may change or end the programme, and may withhold bonuses obtained through abuse.
10.Acceptable use
You must not use the platform for money laundering, fraud or any unlawful purpose, give false information, access another person's account, or interfere with the platform's security.
11.Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where the law requires. You can ask us to close your account once it has no active or pending investments, no pending transactions and a balance of zero.
12.Our liability
To the extent the law allows, Sterling Holdings is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will give you notice of significant changes, and the new version applies from the date shown on this page.
14.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and the courts of [jurisdiction] have jurisdiction over any dispute.
